Tucked away in the woodland recesses of Niton, down near the south coast of the Isle of Wight, is an altogether more enchanting experience than can be found anywhere else at all. It is called the Enchanted Manor and everything about it – its appearance, its ambience, even its website – exudes enchantment of the purest kind.
This multiple award winning, 5-star hotel is simply spectacular. Everything about it has an enchanted theme. The rooms are beautiful, luxurious – and enchanted. Hosts Ric and Maggie have lovingly, and not unimaginatively, restored their home in the image a magical boutique. The works of a world-famous artist, Josephine Wall, inspired the project and adorn the whole building.
The visitor is spoiled with luxury – wine, chocolate, gourmet breakfasts, use of the spa. Most of the beds are of the four-poster variety. The Manor can host small weddings which must inevitably provide an experience never to be forgotten, and luxury picnics and grand high teas can be provided.
Health and beauty treatments are available, and the hotel even boasts a Victorian games room.
The Manor’s grounds provide a natural retreat for wildlife and badgers, red squirrels, peacocks and pheasants can be observed. Even the weather has its own eco-system and is usually much warmer than elsewhere on the Island.
It is unsurprising that the Enchanted Manor regularly wins so many awards. It was rated first out of 33 Isle of Wight hotels and inns in Trip Advisor’s Popularity Index. Location
At the west side of the city of Estepona. Situated in a prestigious area on a hill looking downwards to the sea. The area is very quiet, only local traffic. Walking distance to the beach (playa de christo, 10min.) and a pleasant walk through a park to the yacht harbour. View of Gibraltar and the African shore line.
The apartment is completely furnished for max. 2 persons totally renovated with new kitchen, bedroom/living and bath. The apartment has a separate entrance, lovely garden with view to Gibraltar and Africa and shares a swimming pool with the villa. Own digital SAT TV and washing machine.
Owner lives on site, does pool maintenance and happily shares his experiences on what do see and to do in Andalucia. He looks back at 35 years of vacationing in south-west Spain.
Surroundings:
300m walking distance to public beach, 3km to public naturist (FKK) beach, 15 golf courses in the region. One hundred meters to bus station, two supermarkets within reach. Many things to be explored, the famous white villages in the nearby mountains, Gibraltar is only 55km away and there are also organised excursions available by ferry boat to Morocco.
Please note, the apartment uses an ecological heat pump for floor heating and hot water is supplied almost all year round with 5m2 of solar panels.

Country Steading Holidays offers self-catering holiday cottage accommodation in the rolling countryside of Aberdeenshire.
These three cottages were finished to a very high standard in 2008, they are fully and comfortably furnished and offer guests a comforting, welcoming “home away from home”.
The owners, Tina and Sid Hadlum, live on site and are always available to help or advise in any way, but respect your privacy at all times.
The cottages are around seven miles from the market town of Turriff, whilst the historic town of Huntly is only eight miles away. Here you will find the falconry centre, wildlife centre, or Bin Forest for quiet, peaceful walks.
