  8. Online security is obsolete as we know it.
The underlining theme that surfaces throughout our guests (Utah’s Attorney General, Mark Shurtleff, Nancy McBride, National Safety Director for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or Anne Collier, NetFamilyNews.org) on CHWradio.com which effect change and empower our children and their families is civility; good old fashioned ethics, good behavior, and decency towards one another. It’s realizing that behind that anonymity online is a real human being. Real change will come with parenting and helping our children become “Responsible CyberCitizens”.

  40. I write about psychological research, especially about findings that will help parents. So I blog about why college admissions are needlessly competitive, why overscheduling isn’t a big problem (Kids enjoy activities! It’s kids not having opportunities that is the real problem!), why helicopter parenting is more media hype than a menace …(and why do so many publishers and experts feel like parenting books should criticize parents? How ’bout credit where credit is due? )
Then sometimes I have to stop blogging because the cat feels she has to be scratched in this particular spot behind her left ear.

  80. We are junior high sweethearts who became first-time parents when our beautiful baby boy was born on 04/26/08! Here on Mommy Daddy Blog, we chronicle our adventurous journey through our newfound parenthood!

We’ve both always loved babies and frequently talked about having one of our own. So when we found out that Mommy was pregnant, needless to say we were very excited! We were so excited that we wanted to share our experiences and adventures through the pregnancy and as new parents with the world. So we launched Mommy Daddy Blog on December 19th, 2007, only a couple of weeks after finding out that we were pregnant.

Mommy Daddy Blog has since brought about a wealth of opportunities for us. Most importantly it has allowed us to connect with other moms and dads and share the joys and experiences of parenthood.

  101. After 16 years working with at risk youth and their families I realized that parents are the missing link. I realize that parenting is the most important job many of us have, yet we get little training, a vague job description and a boss (or bosses) that doesn’t understand what the job actually entails. I work with parents to help them realize and achieve the family structure they want. A happy home with reasonable expectations of each other and respect for each other. Let’s talk. I am not a counselor or a therapist. I am your personal coach. Your family’s coach.
