I am lead staff person for the design, implementation and policy development for BruinAlert. In 2008, UCLA received the California Emergency Services Association (CESA) “Gold Award” recognizing the innovative qualities of the BruinAlert system, and “for exceptional contributions to the field of Emergency Management.” I am a Vice-Chair for the Universities and Colleges subcommittee for the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
