1. How do I submit my listing?
*Please register if you have never submitted a listing to Just Tweet It. If you have created a listing in the past please read this.* To submit your listing first you need to choose a directory either from the drop down menu at the top of the site, choosing one of the popular categories listed on the side or visiting the entire list of directories on the main directory page. Once you have chosen your directory simply fill out the short form using your name (or the name you are commonly known by), your email address associated with your twitter account (so that your twitter avatar will show up) and your twitter url or username followed by a brief bio including relevant information to help others that share your interests find you.
2. What information can I include in my listing?
*Please register if you have never submitted a listing to Just Tweet It. If you have created a listing in the past please read this.* The information in your listing is important because not only does it determine what avatar will show up on your listing but it also is what others will use when searching for twitter users to follow. Be sure to include your name (or the name you are commonly known by), the email address associated with your twitter account (so that your twitter avatar will show up) and your twitter url or username followed by a brief bio. Be sure to include relevant information to help others that share your interests find you.
3. Why won’t my avatar show?
Your avatar is controlled by the email address you enter in your listing. First it will attempt to get your Twitter avatar but due to Twitter’s hourly api limit sometimes it doesn’t always retrieve it right away. If you want to be sure that the correct avatar will show on your listing, please sign up at gravatar.com with the same email address you used here and upload the image you want displayed.
4. How many directories can I submit my listing to?
*Please register if you have never submitted a listing to Just Tweet It. If you have created a listing in the past please read this.* Please limit the number of directories you enter your listing in to three. Be sure to choose the three most relevant directories to your interests and if you don’t see a directory you think needs to be included please let us know!
5. How do I edit my listing?
If you were a registered user before you posted your listing(s) you will be able to edit your listings by clicking the “edit” link located on your listing(s). If you have created listing(s) before you registered please fill out this form and we will make the changes for you or you can register first then create new listings that you will always be able to edit. If you choose to create a new listing please use this form to request deletion of your previous listings.
6. How do I delete my listing?
Sorry to see you go! But if you would like to delete a listing please fill out this short form and we will take care of it for you.
7. I entered my listing and when I hit submit it disappeared!
For one reason or another your listing has been marked as spam. If it is a legitimate listing don’t worry… it will re-appear once the listings are moderated which we try to do at least once a day.
