Hi I’m Kevin Thanks for taking the time to check out Edgalaxy. I basically stated this up in mid 2009 to assist role as an ICT coach at my school to filter high quality and useful web sites, resources, lessons and web tools from the rubbish that is aimed at teachers on the web.

Originally it was just aimed at my staff but with over 50,000 visitors stopping by before the end of 09 alone it has taken on a broader audience and international flavour.

Based in Victoria, Australia I am an e-learning coach and work with a wide range of people face to face and globally online. I have a Masters Degree in I.T Education from the University of Melbourne and an Arts / Teaching Degree from ACU, but basically I am just a computer geek who can break technical jargon down so that the average teacher can make sense of it and use it in their classroom. I don’t recommend anything unless I can see a purpose for it that will make your professional or personal life better for using it.

Hope you get some use out of Edgalaxy – I look forward to building upon its rapid growth and success in 2009 and have a number of plans to do far more with it in 2010 and beyond to make it the best educational tech blog on the web.
