Born in NY, live in Seattle. I’m a Jewish Atheist and enjoy chocolate, movies, technology, social justice, social work, forward thinking ideas about mental health, movies, reading, zombies, good books, bad TV, and of course my Mac.

I’m part personal/life coach, and part chemical dependency professional. I’ve worked in the field of the social sciences for the last 25. I don’t have a 12-step orientation and have found success in supporting people to find alternate pathways to exit addiction. I am currently employed doing in-home MH/CD engagement with (mostly) seniors. I am fortunate in that I love what I do.

Hello! I am an advocate for nontraditional students.

I have a website, a blog, and a Yahoo group that provide help and support for older students who are going back to school.

Also, I have a home business as a blogger, a writer, and an artist. I also coach people on how to use internet programs and how to get online, and get their own blog or web page.

I use a Mac computer. It’s so much easier for me than other computers.
